Twice a year, the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) hosts an exhilarating event known as Kids Day, dedicated to inspiring the next generation of Amateur Radio enthusiasts! This is a fantastic opportunity for parents, grandparents, Scout troops, church groups, and the general public to share their passion for radio communication with young people. What is Kids Day?
Kids Day aims to provide hands-on on-the-air experience for children and encourage them to pursue their own Amateur Radio licenses in the future. It also gives seasoned ham operators a chance to showcase their stations and share their love for Amateur Radio with younger generations.
Event Details:
- Date:First Saturday in January (Jan 4 2025)

- Time:From 1800 UTC to 2159 UTC or 1PM to 5PM
- Participate as much or as little as you like!
